Off the banks of Blackford Creek, Kentucky, resonates the music of Dan Hall, melding the traditionalist country roots of Waylon, Cash, Haggard and Hank with a modern outlaw attitude. Hall has a unique ability to connect to audiences through his warm vocals, storytelling, creative interpretations of favorite cover songs and heartfelt originals.
Born and raised in Knottsville, Kentucky, Hall began playing guitar around age 16 and sang in his church until his early 20's. His background in gospel is what he contributes to the depth and soul of his performances.
In 2013 Hall started the band Blackford Creek, named for the creek that runs through Daviess and Hancock counties where he spent his childhood. Performing with his band presented opportunities to open for big name acts such as Tracy Lawrence, Terri Clark, David Allen Coe and Confederate Railroad.
When not playing with his band, Hall spends his time performing acoustic shows and drawing from his personal life experiences to write songs, many of which can be heard on the band's new album due to be released this summer 2023.
Whether playing solo or with the band, Hall presents an authentic performance full of energy and his love of country music.
